Hello! To those of you who haven't personally met me, my name is Idunnu Tomori and I am the CEO/Founder of Misayo House!
I earned a Psychology degree from Florida State University and M.S. in Counseling from Georgia State University. After working as a counselor for several years, my husband’s job required a move to South Africa where I began hosting jewelry parties.
As a fan of Fine Jewelry but not necessarily the heft price tags, I launched the Misayo Brand which means “beautiful generation” and is the middle name of my older daughter, Tara.
I describe our jewelry as "Affordable Luxury" because I take pride in providing quality fashion pieces without having you break the bank.
Something else I take pride in is giving back! Starting this year, a portion of proceeds from our sales will benefit The AFLAC Cancer and Blood Disorder Center at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta! This organization is very near and dear to my heart because it is where my younger daughter, Toni was treated for Sickle Cell Disease and cured with a Bone Marrow Transplant thanks to her donor and older sister, Tara!
I currently live in Atlanta, GA with my husband (of almost 13 years) and two daughters (ages 9 & 6). Both girls are ballerinas and keep me busy as a mom...my proudest role.
I once again would like to thank you all for your continued support. As a fairly new business owner, it means more than you can imagine.
YOU are a big reason why Misayo House continues to thrive!
